ktvu tara moriarty is in oakland. she has all the di tails of who is -- details of who is being targeted. >> reporter: this is one of the riskiest raids that oakland police had this morning. this is the home that they were targeting. and you can see the shades are now drawn and officers are inside. they are conducting a search and talking to people there. we're in the max well park neighborhood off of interstate 580 just before 5:00 this morning swat teams moved into the home on the 3100 block of month sell low avenue. this is one of a half a dozen raids that are taking place this morning. this particular operation was dangerous because officers are dealing with alleged gang members. they are looking for drugs, guns, that sort of thing. when we arrived the police helicopter was overhead. we saw tactical units and ambulances on stand by. neighbors reported to us they heard a loud boom. we're not sure if that was a door being kicked in or flash grenades were deplayed. around 5:45 most of the units were pulled out. oakla

thank you for joining us on ktvu morning news. it is friday january 3/4. i'm dave clark. >> and i'm pam cook. time now 6:30. the power is still out. dozens of people in san francisco affected after a driver crashed into a power pole. ktvu's claudine wong has been on the story since 4:30. she's live on townsend street. i know pg&e is working to get the power back. >> reporter: yes, they are. i just talked to pg&e and we can update you with a lot of new details. i want to show you what's happening bind me. crews are hard at work. we have a crew up high trying to stabilize the lines and they're trying to get the pole out of the way. it was attached to those wires. it is now being held up by this big truck and it's hanging up over the street. the problem has been they wanted to get this power pole out of the way. it feeds one of the buildings out here and once it gets this out of the way, they say they can turn on the power to much of the people that are affect bid the power outage and that will do a lot to make the situation better. they still have hours of w
